Gucci to Show at Paris Fashion Week
The Gucci Spring 2019 collection will be showcased in Paris instead of Milan during Fashion Week on September 24th. The move will tail-end creative director, Alessandro Michele’s French-inspired narrative that began with the Pre-Fall campaign tribute to the Parisian student protests of 1968. The Italian designer staple will also be staging its Resort 2019 collection in Arles, France at the end of this month. But Milan will not have to worry about losing one of their most audience pulling shows for long, luckily Gucci’s move isn’t a permanent one. CEO of Gucci, Marco Bizzarri says they are “looking forward to returning to Milan in February 2019”.
