Add some life to your closet this spring, by incorporating an assortment of printed pieces.
Gingham, Stripes and Floral prints are some of the biggest patterns we’re seeing this season, and they’re coming in the form of dresses, shirts, trousers, denim and so much more. While these three prints made a loud statement on the runway, they’ll easily transfer into your wardrobe.
Floral
In true spring fashion, every girl needs some floral prints in her wardrobe. If you’re looking for something subtle, opt for a floral bag or accessories – like a silk neck scarf or a printed tote bag. This will allow you to add a touch of femininity to your work wear without being too bold.
You can also add a floral top to your work wardrobe, as it’s the perfect swap for a regular work blouse.
If you’re feeling brave this spring and your workplace has a more flexible dress code, we recommend rocking head to toe floral. Style print-on-print items for a bold look or paired with a black blazer and heels for a more traditional take.
Gingham
Gingham is a fun and playful pattern that can easily be incorporated into you office wear. To make your outfit more on the playful side chose something with frills or extra detailing like the fabulous pants below.
If you’re looking for a more sophisticated look, we recommend wearing a structured gingham printed jacket to work. The gingham print will give your outfit a feminine and playful dose touch.
If your style is more subtle and you prefer staying out of the fashion spotlight, try on a pair of gingham printed flats or mules this spring. This is a great way to still try out the eye-catching print without going too over the top.
Stripes
Stripes have always played a major role in office wear in the form of pinstriped suits, but this season if you’re feeling bold, ditch the traditional thin stripes and add some bigger eye-catching stripes to your work wear.
If you prefer dresses over pants, embrace the warmer weather and rock an on-trend dress, This season, we can’t get enough of deconstructed approach to traditional work wear and are eyeing up this beautiful fusion of white work shirt, meets classic oxford. Style with a traditional blazer for the day and then rock it on its own at night.
Stripes are everywhere this spring and are definitely worthy of taking up some space in your closet. Stripes are easily the most wearable trend of the season and are super easy to style and are transitional from day to night when styled with the right accessories.
