Tomas Maier to Exit Bottega Veneta
After a good, long run of 17 years at Bottega Veneta, Tomas Maier is stepping down as creative director. Maier was hand selected by Tom Ford in 2001 when Bottega Veneta was acquired by Gucci Group and didn’t show his first ready-to-wear collection until 2005. Working endlessly to revive the then-struggling Italian fashion house, Maier is credited for putting the brand’s name back on the luxury market. Bottega Veneta is now a staple of Milan fashion week and a must-have brand for accessories. As to who might be a worthy replacement to Maier? The question still remains without comment.

The outdoor and athletic gear brand launched North Face Renewed, refurbished clothing remade to explore. By taking steps to reduce clothing waste, North Face has come up with a savvy way to recycle clothing while keeping their promise of quality. The renewed collections include a full range of men’s and women’s wear to be worn, loved and recycled again.
