While we wait for the last snow to fall, it’s time to start prepping our closets and ourselves for spring because when it comes it’s going to put us in major panic mode. It is the perfect time to start breaking out of the comfort of our sweats and the black section of our closet and introduce all the amazing spring trends for 2018. Here are our predictions for the hottest trends everyone must try.

Romantic Ruffles
There is a regal and powerful quality that women exude when wearing ruffles. Could be the Victorian-esque inspiration on feminine and masculine dressing, or releasing your inner salsa dancer, but either way, we can’t get enough of them.

Pastels
Pastels for spring? How original. We always associate spring with colour, but the pastel hues have been shown all over the runways for spring. Lavender is a particular shade designers such as Victoria Beckham and Michael Kors have all showcased in their collections and is a must grab if you ask us.

Check Mate
Spring is not all just about colour but prints as well. The check print made ways through our fall and winter wardrobes, and we are keeping them around for spring. It is a fresh, masculine print that can easily be worn soft and pretty as well as edgy and sharp.

Bold Colour
Ladies, be prepared for all your black pieces to take a back seat because the bolder the colour the better. It’s all about sharp pops of colour, monochromatic dressing, and letting your outfit be seen from three blocks away, and we are definitely not mad about it.

Transparent
A little bit of risqué never hurt anyone, and we love how this trend is being shown on the runway. You can really push the boundaries and wear the sheer look to complement your own style or if you want to switch things up and take it up a notch.

Vinyl
Vinyl is creeping back and although some might think of it as a faux pas we can’t get enough of this fabric and how it brings personality and attitude to every look. Perhaps starting with a pair of black vinyl pants or skirt will help you get on board with this trend or accessories like bags or a pair of knee-high boots. You will definitely be the talk of the party.

Futuristic Sunnies
We have seen celebrities and fashion bloggers all ditching their oversized sunglasses and swapping them for small, sleek, futuristic-looking frames. There is such a wide variety of styles and shapes to cater to all face shapes. You will be ahead of everyone with your chic glasses when the sun decides to show face.
