Role:

The Production Coordinator is an integral part of the Production team and is foundational to the product life cycle.

This individual is responsible for the administrative and clerical support to the production process, and key responsibilities include tracking materials to production, submitting purchase orders, and tracking production orders.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide updates and track production projects which in result in <5% delays

• Maintain and upkeep set budgets

• Order materials for production and tracking delivery

• Prepare and submitting purchase orders for production to various vendors

• Tracking production costs such as materials and vendor costs

• Preparing production profitability reports and submitting RFQ to vendors as instructed by the Production Manager

• Coordinate sample production for new product launches

• Monitor and track production projects

• Identify and flag any potential issues pertaining to timelines

• Monitoring inventory levels of trims

Requirements: 

• Able to communicate effectively and timely to various stakeholders both internally and externally

• Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment and readily embraces change and embraces new concepts

• A self starter - This individual is able to prioritize tasks based on timelines, urgency and team needs

• Able to proactively identify issues and collaborate with team members to creatively come up with solutions

• Stays current with industry trends in production and market trends

• A collaborative team player who is capable of working towards collective goals

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in the fashion/apparel industry

• Possesses strong interpersonal skills and empathy, appreciating the diversity of team members' backgrounds and talents

• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset

• Be passionate about Peace Collective’s causes and mission statement
