We are currently hiring for a Creative Studio Assistant to join our creative team.

Position Summary:

The Studio Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our Creative Studio operations. Particularly focused on the preparation of apparel for styling—from research and inspiration gathering to garment organization for the purposes of shooting. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in fashion and retail.

What you’re responsible for:

• Responsible for organizing apparel samples for studio use. Ensuring they are prepared on a styling rack and steamed.
• Coordinate cross-departmentally regarding all shared samples and equipment.
• Identifying styles that are required for shooting purposes, and facilitating that order.
• Cleaning the studio daily.
• Re-organizing racks post-shoot, ensuring that everything is in order by date.
Responsible for meeting minutes of the studio team at large. Ensure all requests are captured, and provide that to the team for a smooth run of show.
Assist with day to day activities as required.
Be attentive towards the model / talent, providing what they need to have a successful and positive shoot with our brand.

STYLING:

• Support the Creative Director and Marketing Content Lead with researching trends. Own building mood-boards to convey styling concepts.
• Ensure that the original vision for a garments design is realized in the final outfit.
• Be the expert on product calendar so that styling documents include all items necessary to shoot.
• Work closely with the Creative Director and Vice President of Creative to ensure all styling is on brand prior to shoot.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a studio or creative environment.
• Strong organizational skills for managing samples, coordinating shoots, and overseeing studio logistics.
• Familiarity with studio equipment and production processes.
• Knowledge or experience in styling for various types of shoots.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work with a team and ensure a smooth run of show.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle unexpected challenges.
• Attention to detail for maintaining sample inventory and ensuring high-quality production.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, from shoot assistance to studio maintenance.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant work and experience would be an asset.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, as studio schedules may vary.
• Ability to lift, carry and move items up to 50 lbs.
