Now that fall is underway, there’s no better time to breathe some new life into your wardrobe by stocking up on some of the seasons hottest trends. From fierce prints to powerful shapes, here’s your guide to the hottest trends for the new season.
Animal Print
Animal print is having a major moment this season, with zebra and leopard prints dominating the catwalks of Victoria Beckham, Calvin Klein, Givenchy, Balenciaga and Tom Ford. To avoid print overkill, keep the rest of your outfit pared-down and team with flats or ankle boots.
Bold and Bright
Don’t think that your fall colour palette has to revolve around dark hues. From bright pinks and reds to bold blues, get ready to see major pops of vibrant hues this season.
Tweed
Add a touch of masculinity to your wardrobe this season by welcoming the tweed trend. For fall, Marc Jacobs played styled oversized tweed coats with leather skirts, while Louis Vuitton’s runways were dominated by tweed skirts, making this a trend we just can’t wait to get our hands on.
Western
Western-inspired pieces were a major staple on fall runways, so a pair of chic cowboy-style boots, bandanas or a prairie dress are perfect for every fall wardrobe.
High Shine
High shine is also having a moment this season, and we’re welcoming it with open arms (and bank accounts). From patent to shimmer, high shine adds a hint of glamour to any look. Rock this trend by mixing shine items with very classic pieces like a khaki trench or neutral colours for a more fashion-forward look.
