Oftentimes, we rummage through our closet looking for that one top to go with this particular outfit we had in mind for a girls night out to find out it doesn’t even exist. It’s frustrating that in the midst of winter you don’t have anything wearable for a night out or an event. You would think living in Canada would mean we would be on top of the cold weather essentials, but my excuse is we are so accustomed to hibernating that a night out in January seems far-fetched. In worst cases, we take that summer going out top and throw a cardigan over it, but it’s just not the same. Knits play a huge part in our wardrobe and sometimes we get carried away with the casual pullovers and cardigans, we end up having a slim to none selection for the days we want to look put together.
