Vancouver Fashion Jobs – Winter Colour Blocking

This past summer the color blocking trend took over the runways and the streets as fashionistas wore layers upon layers of color in vibrant, stylish ways. So now that the cold winter season has crept up on us, do we go back to wearing our 50 shades of winter grey? Of course not! We beat the winter blues and apply 2012’s brightest trend to a dreary cold weather wardrobe. Retailers are beginning to jump on the color blocking bandwagon by carrying dresses for the holiday season in flashy shades. The best part about it is you can go as wild with your accessories as you want. Got a cobalt dress? Get some orange shoes, or an emerald jacket – anything that will make you stand out in the sea of black. Some of our favorite pieces came from labels like H&M and Express, but no matter where you shop, I know one thing for sure; this winter will be the brightest one yet.
