Marketing Coordinator

Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience

Please note that this is a hybrid position, and all candidates must be available to work in our Vancouver-based office three days a week.

Founded by Miriam Alden in 2014, Brunette the Label is a Vancouver-based clothing brand designed in Canada with a mission to support all babes, all day, every day.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our small but dedicated team. This role requires versatility, as you will be involved in a range of responsibilities—from content creation and website support to community engagement and event planning. As part of a close-knit team, you will play an integral role in our growth and success.

We are looking for a candidate eager to grow both within their role and the company. As part of a small team, the ideal candidate will understand that no task is too small, whether it’s packing sale orders or assisting with sample sale setups. We want someone excited to grow alongside the company and contribute to its continued success.

You'll work closely with our Brand Director and Marketing Team.

What You'll Do

• Content Creation: Source inspiration, create, and edit content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and email newsletters, ensuring all messaging aligns with our brand voice.

• Community Engagement: Cultivate and maintain a strong connection with our online community through thoughtful interactions, including responding to messages and comments.

• Influencer Partnerships: Support influencer outreach and gifting initiatives, helping to build and maintain relationships with brand partners

• Affiliate Program: Assist in managing our affiliate program by tracking performance, coordinating communication, and identifying new partnership opportunities

• Event Support: Assist in organizing and executing events such as pop-ups, sample sales and influencer and community events.

Online Store Assistance: Help optimize the customer experience, assist with online merchandising, and support efforts to enhance sales performance through the website.

What You Bring

• Experience: 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably within fashion, retail, or lifestyle.

• Social Media Expertise: Proven ability to create engaging content across all social media platforms, stay up to date on trends and find new inspiration.

• E-Commerce Knowledge: Comfortable working in Shopify or similar e-commerce environments.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand effectively.

• Team Player: A collaborative attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed, recognizing that no task is too small.

• Valid Driver’s License

• Digital Ads: Familiarity with social and online paid ads is a bonus!
