We recently attended Vancouver jewelry designer Sancha‘s launch preview party at the new Hawksworth restaurant in the Georgia Hotel. Quickly becoming a go-to jewelry designer with stylists and wardrobe designers, Sancha Tatlock’s pieces are frequently seen on screen such as The CW’s Life Unexpected, The Secret Circle and The Haunting Hour, as well as See If I Care starring Patricia Arquette.
Sancha’s resort collection features lavish hues of gemstones and exudes golden light and warmth of a tropical winter seascape. Amongst her collection the focus is always global design with an elevated sense of social responsibility, so naturally the outcome would be sophisticated jewelry with a sustainable and ecological conscience.
Her newest project is The Love Love Project inspired by the work of Japanese scientist, Masaru Emoto. She believes in the power of all natural elements and incorporates gemstones and precious metals in her designs, with the healing properties of pure water. This project is dedicated to aiding water related causes around the world. Some of the proceeds will be donated to Oxfam Canada in aid of the drought in East Africa.
