Halloween is my favourite time of year. Not only do I love a good pumpkin carve, but there is nothing better than trading in my jeans and a t-shirt for face paint and a wig. Now that I am older and wiser, I know to avoid the prepackaged costumes and search Value Village for a something that errs on the side of fashion rather than vamp. It might take a few trips, but taking the time to put together a costume inspired by your favourite musician or designer will be a big hit at your Halloween party this year.
