While waiting for a friend to attend a designer season launch, I was walking around Toronto’s uptown neighbourhood and decided to walk into Cloakroom – Yonge and Summerhill’s boutique gem. As I entered into this adorable store, I met owner Meira Elituv who was super friendly and an absolute delight in showing me around. Having spent some time in California, Elituv came back to Toronto and decided to bring some of the most exclusive brands from the U.S. to our side of the border. With these brands sold ONLY at The Cloak Room their motto preaches that shoppers don’t need to go all the way to Buffalo searching for certain pieces that are only sold at Bloomingdale’s or Nordstrom. Designer names include Deux Lux (New York), BB Dakota (California) and many more, not only from the US, but also Australia.
