Now that warm weather is finally on the horizon, it’s time to put away those bulky scarves and gloves and swap them for a few seasonal pieces that will surely turn a few heads.

Because there’s nothing better than adding the right accessories to your wardrobe, as it gives you the opportunity to transform an otherwise simple outfit into a more polished look.

This season, make heads turn in the office for all right reasons by adding a few of these must-have pieces to your accessories repertoire.

To make getting ready for work that much easier, we’ve also included different ways to style these pieces.

1. Striped Beret

Chic Beret

The fashionistas of Instagram are taking their style to a whole new level, by adding a trés chic beret to their wardrobes. As the weather fully transitions to spring, there may be the unexpected chilly day, so rather than reaching for your reliable beanie, opt for a chic beret instead.

Style Tip: Wear with a crisp white button up, black pants, and a pair of slip-on mules for a Parisian-inspired look.

2. ASOS Corset Belt

Corset Belt

When you think of corset belts, the first thing that might come to mind is Victorian dressing. But believe it or not, this accessory was one of the most spotted trends at Fashion Week. From wide waist belts to laced bodices, this is a trend you’re definitely going to want to stock up on.

Style Tip: To add another dimension to an otherwise simple button-down, wear a corset belt overtop in a contrasting colour.

3. Blush Velvet Choker

Royalty Blush Choker

Usually, we would say avoid wearing a choker to work and save it for your Friday night attire, but this blush velvet choker with crystal starburst embellishment adds a touch of sophistication that we can’t get enough of.

Style Tip: To get away with wearing this statement piece in the office, make sure to pair it with a boyfriend fit blazer, cigarette pants with a tucked in blouse and a pair of oxfords to be the queen of office sophistication.

4. Silk Scarf

Silk Scarf

Not feeling the choker trend? Swap it for an ultra chic neck scarf for an off-duty model look. A silk scarf is a super-hip alternative to the ‘90s inspired choker trend and can be worn with any outfit.

Style Tip:  Combine a simple top, great jeans, and a little scarf for a laid-back look.

5. Red Aviators

Colourful Sunnies

A pair of hip aviator shades is the perfect accessory for the brighter days ahead. But follow the lead of fashion’s biggest stars and opt for a pair in a bold statement hue like red, blue, yellow or fuchsia for an extra dose of ‘cool’.

Style Tip: Wear a pair of colourful sunnies with your favourite pantsuit to feel like a serious #BossLady.

6. Structure Earrings

Structural Statement Earrings

While the statement necklace was a trend we enjoyed, this season we’re seriously excited about glamming out our ears with some bold, structural earrings this spring.

Style Tip: Wear your hair up to really show off these beauties.

7. Mini Bag

Mini Bags

While you clearly can’t fit your laptop — let alone your phone — in one of these micro-sized beauties, mini bags were the stars of Fashion Week and have quickly taken over our favourite street style star’s Instagram feeds in the last few weeks, and hopefully be making an appearance on yours too!

Style Tip: Fully embrace spring by swapping your go-to black purse for a fun seasonal hue like this swoon-worthy green.
