We’re seeing metallic everywhere. Its perfect for the holidays season, but how do you wear this top trend to work?

It’s finally December, and what better way to show your holiday cheer than to wear it? It’s time to set aside that maroon cable knit sweater, classic camel cashmere turtleneck, and fuzzy plaid blanket scarf, and get ready for shimmer season. You don’t have to wait until Christmas dinner or New Years eve to glisten.

As one of the top trends shown on the Fall 2016 runway, including Valentino’s green tint pleated skirt, Alexander McQueen’s gold metallic unicorn on a black mesh dress, and Dolce & Gabana’s gold floral embellished trench coat, metallic looks are the easiest way to decorate an outfit for the holidays.

Use this seamless trend to make your own seasons greetings statement by adding shinning fabrics and chrome details to any outfit. Avoid the overdone loud sequins, and wear any of these iridescent pieces to add a little light to your day, with less sparkle and more shine.
