Even though we’re right in the middle of the Winter Olympics and images from the Fall/Winter runway shows at NYFW are overwhelming our newsfeeds, it will soon be time to start shopping for spring. Menswear has been increasingly gaining the spotlight in terms of fashion trends to watch, and in North America specifically, men have been embracing a more European inspired way of dressing in the use of colour, cuts, and especially exposed ankles. Back to the basics again – trends are changing for outerwear, and men have been seen trading in their long trenches for shorter, more simplified versions.
