I have three words to describe what the coming season means to me – structured, refined and ladylike. The top-handle bag, a 50’s inspiration, has brought a new feel for FW13 and just one of the many trends that will catch the eyes of many fashionistas. Totes and shoulder bags will always have a dear place in our heart but the petite top-handles are making their way into many closets this season. Alexander Wang has shown that the past can most certainly bring its way back into the present with Balenciaga’s ready-to-wear collection this fall. With just the right amount of edge, Wang proves that you can be chic and sweet with a twist.
