Though the summer days may be coming to an end, there is absolutely no need to worry. We may be packing up our vibrant colours and short shorts, but this season we get to make room for tons of new trends straight from the runway. Though you may not be wearing those flowy sundresses anymore, you can opt for the much sexier Les Smoking Tuxedo option. This masculine trend first came to light in the 60s by Yves Saint Laurent, and has been reinvented for the 2013 Fall/Winter season by various designers such as Victoria Beckham and Alexander Wang.

Another trend we’ll be seeing a lot of is layers, and lots of them. Try colour blocking your layers for a spin on the bright summer trend, or opt for monochromatic greys or Greens -two colours that have individually dominated the Fall 2013 runways- for your own twist on the summer trend. Not a big fan of the layering? No problem, cozy thick knits have also been spotted as one of next seasons warmest trends.

Don’t forget, incorporating your summer wardrobe into your new fall trends will not only give you plenty of room for creativity, but will soften the cold blow of the Fall season.
