Don’t speak, I know just what you’re thinking… it is no doubt that Gwen Stefani is one of the biggest fashion icons of our time. Not only has the scarlet lipped, platinum bombshell not aged a single day, but she has continually evolved. Her look, in essence, is quite possibly one of the factors that rose her and No Doubts’ star so bright. From the ska loving, rock-a-billy chick, to the sophisticated mommy wearing Galliano, Ms. Stefani has continued to keep her cool effortlessly, always remaining truthful to what style means to her – the iconic looks she’s famous for have been influential in her music, but also her business. It seemed only natural that her innate creativity in fashion be translated into a line, and as such, L.A.M.B. and its many run-offs were born. Continually inspiring and forecasting how fashion can be fun, she has successfully transitioned what she wears on stage, on to the runways, and more importantly onto the streets – that is what makes a true style icon.
