Montreal Fashion Jobs – Montreal Fashion Week

The official schedule for the 20th edition of Montreal Fashion Week was released last week, and we could not be more thrilled by the line up! Our favourite veterans like Marie St-Pierre and Denis Gagnon will be making appearances, but there is plenty of new talent that should not be missed! My pick for the must-see show at the FW2011 collections is the Collective Fashion Show presented by TRUSST, featuring three relative newcomers to the Montreal design scene.

1. THOMAS

THOMAS.

Thomas.’s second collection is rumored to be a contemporary take on both structured and softer shapes and forms.

2. CHRISTIAN L’ENFANT ROI

CHRISTIAN L'ENFANT ROI

Christian l’Enfant Roi launched his first collection at the end of 2010 but has already received lots of local and international media attention. Somber, old world inspired looks characterize this menswear collection.

3. SAMUEL MERCURE

SAMUEL MERCURE

Samuel Mercure began his career as an installation artist and sculptor. He has since turned to fashion and will be debuting his first collection at Montreal Fashion Week. Here is what we’ve been told to expect: ‘This collection is for unique but fragile and vulnerable individuals looking for strength and protection from the elements around them.’ – Sensation Mode

Collective Fashion Show presented by TRUSST on Thursday, February 10th at 6pm at Marché Bonsecours.
