Job Title: Fashion Stylist
Location: 1560 Avenue Road, Toronto Ont M5M 3X5
Reports to: Boutique Manager & Ownership
Job Details: Join our team as a Fashion Stylist, where your passion for style meets
unparalleled service. As a liaison between discerning clientele and exquisite fashion, your keen eye for quality, deep understanding of luxury fashion brands and market trends, will provide expert fashion advice, thereby fostering lasting relationships. While upholding our reputation for excellence, you will actively contribute to the boutique’s overall sales by driving in-store and online one-to-one curated shopping experiences. Use of social media and conducting daily lives through online selling is critical for this position.
Type: up to 40 hours per week in-store with flexible scheduling, including weekends; potential for evening shifts as needed.
Core Responsibilities:
• Actively expand and develop client base, and upkeep current client-brand relationships;
lead and manage in-store customer experiences and shopping appointments to ensure a
seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Proactive clienteling and widening the brand’s current audiences
• Representing the brand as per guidelines and providing high level of service to all clients
• Respect other Stylists’ clients - assist when possible with the intention of maintaining the brand’s image.
• Actively achieves sales targets set forth on a daily- weekly and monthly basis.
• Creative with selling opportunities and developing a client base.
• Create curated styles on social media through Instagram, including the creation of social media content as needed and including but not limited to Live Shopping events on a daily basis.
• Content including but not limited to images, videos, reels, tiktok, will be used and belong exclusively by the brand unless authorized in writing.
• Content that has been created will not be grounds for commission payouts or other incentives unless stated otherwise in writing.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
• Provide 1-to-1 service to each and every client, online and in-store, from start to finish and after the sale
• Maintain a professional and eloquent demeanor when interacting with customers; demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and positivity with both colleagues and clients
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing styling advice and product information
• Manage after-sales follow-ups and client issues professionally
• Participate in daily live content creation on social media platforms, selecting merchandise to showcase
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via Instagram direct messages and emails
• Participate in customer shopping events, social media campaigns, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and customer engagement
• Participate in off-site customer shopping events when required
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and targets
• Convey correct prices to clients and on social media; respect in-store and online pricing determined by management and report any discrepancies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas; uphold back-of-house standards and visual merchandising expectations
• Learn and stay familiar with daily product offerings; know where to find items and packaging
• Adhere to all Policies and Procedures at all times
Cell Phone Usage:
• Each stylist will have access to a work cell phone, which must remain in-store at all times
• Please refrain from giving out your personal cell phone number, email address, or social media handles for personal safety
• Brand social media accounts may only be accessed via the store cell phones
• You will be liable for any loss or damage to the phone if it is removed from the store
Profile:
• Customer service experience—luxury retail sales experience of 3+ years is preferred
• Understands and delivers true 1-to-1 client service
• Strong knowledge of fashion trends, styles, and brands
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Punctual and dependable
• Proficiency in social media platforms, particularly Instagram
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
• Eager to drive sales and contribute to overall business growth
Compensation Package: Hourly pay, commission paid out on sales, paid vacation, paid sick days and paid vacation
