About Style Nine to Five

Style Nine to Five is Canada’s fashion industry job board and career resource site. We provide career advice, job listings, and career services to help individuals break into and thrive in the fashion industry. We’re now looking for a creative and organized Content & Community Coordinator to help us share our content, grow our audience, and expand our presence online.

Role Overview

We’re looking for someone who can take our existing blog content and career resources and transform them into engaging digital posts across Instagram and LinkedIn. You’ll also play a role in growing our reach by supporting light community and influencer outreach. The goal: make sure the career advice, job listings, and services Style Nine to Five is known for reach the people who need them most.

Key Responsibilities

• Repurpose existing blog content into Instagram posts, reels, and LinkedIn updates.

• Create a consistent posting schedule across platforms to showcase job listings, career advice, and services.

• Design visually appealing posts and stories using Canva.

• Edit and format short-form video content for engaging reels.

• Influencer and community outreach (research, drafting outreach messages, tracking responses).

• Ensure all posts are optimized for each platform and align with brand voice.

• Monitor engagement and flag opportunities to grow audience reach.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in content creation, social media, or community outreach.

• Strong knowledge of Instagram and LinkedIn.

• Proficiency in Canva and basic video editing tools.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.

• Passion for fashion, careers, and helping people succeed.
