Part Time Contract Designer - Womens Woven & Denim Bottoms

We are looking for a unique individual who brings a combination of fashion and technical performance expertise to assist with the design of our women’s line.


The Successful Candidate will:


Assist with the development of the creative vision and direction that aligns with the aesthetic of our target customer
Identify marketplace trends that are relevant to our customers
Develop a collection from concept to product working closely with product development team to pass requirements in order to execute designs
Present the collection to stakeholders in order to move the development process forward to completion
Lead fittings and approvals of design from development to final approval


The Ideal Candidate will have:

A College Degree - BS/BA in Apparel/Fashion Design.
3-5 years of hands on design experience
Adobe Creative Suite proficiency - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or CAD software a must
Proven background in developing a full collection
Expert knowledge in apparel construction and in particular woven/denim bottoms
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross functional team environment
Experience working in a shifting and collaborative environment with a great deal of constructive feedback and input.
