The Producer, Creative Content will lead and manage full-cycle editorial photography and video productions, ensuring creative vision, logistical excellence, and budget adherence—from concept through final delivery. Supervise and mentor the Coordinator, Production & Photo Studio to optimize team performance. This position will require weekly in-person work at our Bloor Street West offices in Toronto, ON and may require extended hours on production days.
Core Responsibilities:
End-to-end Production Leadership:
• Collaborate with the DVP of Creative, Art Director, and internal Marketing stakeholders to define scope, concept, and deliverables for both Photography (print and digital) and Video productions.
• Develop, own and enforce production schedules, timelines and budgets—tracking and adjusting as necessary. Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
• Source and manage freelance crew, talent/models, equipment, studios, locations, permits and other vendors as needed.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, rates and budgets with freelancers, talent/models, facilities, and third-party vendors.
• Oversee creation of production materials, including but not limited to: line by line budgets, call sheets, daily schedules and shot lists.
• Oversee invoice approval, expense reconciliation, and new vendor onboarding procedures.
On-Set & Logistics Management:
• Lead on-set operations: manage crew and talent, maintain schedule, ensure smooth set logistics and effective approvals on set.
• Ensure the safe handling, transport and return of merchandise, props, and equipment post-shoot.
• Serve as the key contact for production issues and health and safety on set. Troubleshoot and adapt in real time.
Post-Production & Asset Delivery:
• Supervise post-production workflows: enforce work-backs, manage retouching and video edit feedback and execute final asset delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams to distribute final files to marketing, web, paid media and editorial stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 4+ years proven experience managing video projects from concept through delivery in editorial video and/or photography production; experience managing mid to large sized, complex shoots (example: broadcast, digital, or branded content).
• Strong understanding of production workflows: pre-production, production, and post-production
• Proven experience managing budgets, timelines, and production schedules. Experience managing individual production budgets in excess of $100,000 CAD is an asset
• Knowledge of camera systems and lighting setups for photo and/or video an asset
• Experience securing permits and location agreements; managing studio operations and Health & Safety compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• Exceptional multitasking, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Mac Operating Systems
• Working knowledge of production tools and software is an asset (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One)
• Familiarity with budgeting tools, project management and shoot management platforms is an asset.
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in photography, film, production, or related field.
• Valid G-class driver’s license preferred
• Background in retail or fashion is an asset, but not required.

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :$80,000.00 - $93,000.00 / 80.000,00$ - 93.000,00$ (per year / par an)Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate's unique skills, expertise, individual qualifications, and assessed contributions to the role following the completion of the interview process.
