Job Title: Assistant Store Manager 

Location: VSP Consignment Boutique; 1410 Dundas Street W, Toronto

At VSP Consignment, we deliver a luxury resale experience that celebrates sustainability, community, and style.  In collaboration with our Leadership team, An Assistant Manager will lead our store team, overseeing the business areas of People, Clients, Product, Environment, Operations, and Security. This role is crucial in upholding our value, maintaining exceptional customer experiences, driving sales and building ongoing relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• People: Support in developing Retail and Consignment team including onboarding new hires, managing performance, and fostering engagement

• Client Experience: Maintain high client standards, drive sales, and resolve issues.

• Product Management: Collaborate on product layout, support merchandising, and educate the team.

• Environment: Ensure cleanliness, manage repairs, and maintain operational systems.

• Operations: Assist with scheduling, oversee cash desk and fitting rooms, and manage supplies.

• Security: Uphold security protocols and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in retail, strong tech skills, and POS experience.

• Proven leadership, business acumen, and industry knowledge.

• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
