Position Overview

A Brand Sales Manager in this role is responsible for driving sales growth in the wholesale market by building strong customer relationships and ensuring brands are well-represented in the market. Their primary goal is to maximize sales through strategic planning, ongoing customer communication, and providing excellent customer service.

What will you do?

Sales

-Manage all sales activities for the assigned brand(s), ensuring sales targets are met and brand representation is consistent across all accounts

-Ensure clear communication and coordination with all stakeholders to align on business goals

-Maintain and nurture relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

-Analyze, forecast, track sales using our software systems

-Manage the organization, tracking of product samples to ensure timely availability for customer appointments

-Scheduling and confirming customer market appointments

-Responsible for promotional opportunities, product knowledge seminars and events 

-Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads

-Attending trade shows local, national and international

-Preparing daily and weekly sales reports and analyses

-Collaborate closely with other sales team members, as well as the Logistics, Operations, and Accounting teams, to ensure seamless processes across sales, customer service and shipping departments

-Ensure all orders meet brand deadlines and that Purchase Orders are created in a timely manner

-Lead cross-departmental collaboration to drive sales initiatives and ensure the alignment of business goals

2. Customer Service and Marketing:

-Coordinate with customers to ensure logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met

-Proactive in identifying opportunities and challenges, with the ability to lead initiatives independently

-Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, while executing high-level customer retention strategies

-Plan and execute special customer appreciation events to foster strong relationships.

-Create customer-facing communications, including eye-catching marketing materials using Canva, MailChimp, or similar programs.

4. Inventory, Repeats and Returns

-Oversee and manage stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory for immediate orders and repeat business. 

-Act as the point person for processing immediate repeat orders, including order entry within 24 hours, picking, packing, invoicing, shipping.

-Maintain the sample stock room by organizing returned samples.

-Process Returns Authorizations (RAs) in accordance with company return guidelines, ensuring RAs for all brands are processed within 24-48 hours.

-Ensure accuracy in receiving credits from brands and resolving any discrepancies.

Must have:

-Minimum of 2 year experience in the retail or wholesale industry 

-A team player that is flexible with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

-Able to multitask and stay focused
