This spring, Canadian retailer Le Château has put together a ‘shop the trend’ feature online providing an easy guide to the best looks to try this season. I’ve rounded up my four favourite trends from Le Château’s most recent collection.

The first look that caught my eye was the leather-like pieces. A fabulous alternative to real leather, I would wear the cropped leather-like moto jacket in alabaster with a knit skinny black pant and coloured bag to complete the look.

Florals are a trend that always seems to pop up in the springtime, but what keeps them looking new everywhere are the silhouettes we see them on. I fell in love with the minimal cut of this dress, which looks especially fresh in an all over floral print.

I love it when stores feature a strong colour that is carried out through the collection in different forms. This spring, Le Château is going with a bold papaya hue. I would try this colour in a solid on the bottom and tie the look together with an artful top and anchor the look with a classic bag.

Lastly, I am loving the bohemian elegance trend the most, as it’s a style that evokes a feeling of being carefree but also pulled together. I paired a soft, printed infinity scarf with a sexy sandal and sophisticated earrings – an easy look to pull of with jeans and white tee.
