Since February, the month of love, is closing in on us, it’s time to start thinking about sexing up our standard winter outfits. Retailers and Designers have made it easier to bring the bedroom outside with these sassy boudoir looks.

Typically, when wearing boudoir style pieces, you will opt for the colours of red, black or beige, and they are usually done in a lace or satin material. Some shy away from expressing their inner vixen, however, you do not need to be overtly sexy to pull this look off. Adding a touch of lace, or a cute cut-out to a dress will allow you to spice up your look, while remaining demure. If you are more daring, you can wear babydoll-inspired tops, or high-waisted shorts with a corset, and all eyes will be on you. A lot of boudoir inspired pieces can be made casual with the simple addition of a blazer, or a great pair of jeans.

However you decide to wear the look, remember that this is a sexy style of dress, so you need to be mindful of the occasion where you are choosing to represent the boudoir. This is an easy way to sex up your everyday wear, and it will be a nice change from the typically winter weather looks.
