It’s official, summer has rolled out and school is back in session.  When that happens, it can only mean one thing; back to school shopping!  While everyone stocks up on new clothes and outfits in their closet, there is one very important item that can’t be forgotten on your shopping list.  As a student it is absolutely essential to have a sturdy and durable bag to carry your laptop and all your books.  When considering school bags, you want something that will last long in style and condition and be big enough to fit all you need.  The most obvious option is a regular shoulder backpack.  I’m not talking about cloth or polyester type bags that will tear within months.  If you really want something durable, the vintage type leather backpacks are what is trending and popular now.  If you’re like me and not quite into the backpack style, a leather satchel is the way to go.  I personally own and use the Cambridge satchel for school.  Not only does it go with the preppy school look, but the size is perfect and it is bound to last you for years and years.  The last option is the tote bag.  If you’re lucky and don’t have too much to carry one day, this style is perfect as something trendy, mature and size appropriate.  If you ever have any extra things to bring to school, I always like carrying a canvas tote bag around as well.  It’s an easy way to keep some weight off your shoulder and to show off a bit of your personal style by choosing a graphic design of your choice.

Whether it’s for school or work, when it comes to bags, I believe in investments.  It’s really important to have something that will function well and last long.  So this back to school season, go out in style with a new wardrobe and bag to last!
