Fashion Jobs – Celebrity Stylist, Kate Young, For Target

For Target’s latest fashion collaboration, the mass retailer rerouted from their usual designer partnership, and opted for a powerhouse stylist to spark things up. Celebrity stylist, Kate Young, has dreamt about designing her own line for years, often assisting designers with their own collections and overseeing lookbooks. Back in 2011, she worked with Jason Wu for his Target campaign, gaining experience and insight that today, enabled her to fulfill her own wishes.

As a stylist, Kate works with visionaries and helps them translate their fantasies through imagery and presence. With Kate Young for Target, she was now the driver in the front seat, drawings sketches and generating garment designs that she would soon call uniquely hers. Known for adding a luxurious touch, Kate designed several special-occasion dresses and trendy separates for mix and matching, alongside bold accessories for complete looks. The line is both versatile and affordable, enabling an inexpensive aura of glamour. Pieces within the line range from $15-$90, and will be available for purchase on April 14, 2013.
