Montreal Fashion Jobs – Monochromatic

Monochromatic colour is predicted to be one of the biggest trends for the upcoming season. If the thought of an emerald green pant suit overwhelms you, don’t let it! Head to toe monochromatic colour can pack a big punch without sacrificing an inch of style. See, for example, Carolina Herrera’s elegant take on the trend, with her bold orange dress, featuring an orange pleated skirt, orange collar and neon orange belt. Elie Saab, similarly, does a great job with an all blue peplum suit that can easily be worn in the boardroom, and out for drinks after work. Still not convinced? Dresses are an easy way to dip your toe into the monochromatic waters without taking too much risk; just simply accessorize with similarly coloured items (ie: black skinny belt with black dress) to pull off an understated version of this on-trend look.
