Montreal Fashion Jobs – Date Night

Date Night #1

Date Night #2

Date Night #3

I get this question all the time: “What should I wear on my date?” To which I reply, “how many dates have you been on, and what do you plan to do?” I know it sounds a little “Hollywood” but it does matter what you wear on date number one, in comparison to date three!

The first date is the one where you’ll probably do something casual, maybe dinner and a movie, or go see a show so if you show up overdressed, wearing an uncomfortable cocktail dress , that might not give off the best impression! It’s like the first day of school; don’t wear your best outfit on the first day, that’s what everyone else is doing! Wait until the third day when everyone else has already worn their best duds, and guess what you’ll totally stand out!
You still have to be cute though! A cute top, a short skirt and a pair of reasonable heels are a good idea for the first date: it shows you care, but not enough to be uncomfortable! The second date is appropriate if you wear skinnies, a sexy blouse and high heels, and the third date can be jazzed up with your best duds, given that he should take you out somewhere a little more intimate than a movie or a crowded music hall.

Now, even though my first date days are over, follow my advice…and well…let me live a little vicariously through you! Please keep it to two drinks max, you don’t want to be THAT gal on a first date.
