Ralph Lauren — studied business briefly but did not earn a degree or attend fashion school.
Giorgio Armani — initially studied medicine before leaving university and eventually entering fashion.
Miuccia Prada — studied political science and earned a PhD; her education wasn’t in fashion.
Vera Wang — studied art history, then worked at Vogue before moving into design.

Although our founder studied fashion marketing, @christie_lohr built her career by starting out on the floor in retail.
