Following celebrities and keeping updated on what they’re doing with their lives is something we all enjoy, even if we don’t always want to admit it. Our fascination with them will never die, especially when it comes to seeing what fashions they are sporting. Celebrities may have a bit more in their wallet than you do, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take outfit cues and styling tips from them. Are you currently in a style rut when it comes to workwear? Here are some celebrities to follow to get out of that rut and give you endless inspiration for Monday to Friday outfits!

1. Michelle Obama: This lady does high low dressing just right. She is a big fan of J. Crew, which is great news for the average working gal, since they have a great selection of work appropriate pieces. She always looks put together but in a very approachable way. If you like a-line silhouettes and cheery patterns then she is the gal for you.

2. Amal Clooney: This woman is 24/7 sophistication no matter what she puts on. She is not afraid to try different silhouettes and styles but her go to pieces are shift dresses, wide legged pants and matching sets. Amal favours clean lines and fuss free shapes to keep things classy. She is a great inspiration if you are looking to get staple items that will be able to pair with endless options for work.

3. Jenna Lyons: Jenna is a girlboss to begin with so it’s no wonder her outfits can give you work inspiration! Her style is part quirk part cool and if you like to show your personality through your officewear then look no further than to what she’s wearing! She is the best role model if you work in a creative environment with a flexible dress code. She loves anything denim and of course always has to have a bit of sparkle or shine to her outfits.

4. Jessica Alba: Jessica has always been considered an adventurous fashionista, but knows how to stick to her true style. She wears trendy pieces but styles them in a way that never goes over the top. For work, take cues from her and buy some boyfriend blazers, skinny trousers and classic prints like florals and stripes.

5. Reese Witherspoon: Reese has an uplifting style that always looks fresh and fun. She sticks to her southern roots and is a fan of denim jackets and sundresses, but can also pull off tailored pieces that will work for a conservative office. She never over accessorizes and keeps things classy with her hemlines.

6. Kate Middleton: Kate may be a princess, but her wardrobe doesn’t always reflect that! There’s a reason everyone loves her style so much, she wears down to earth outfits and pieces that people can actually see themselves in, not to mention multiple times as well. Wrap dress, understated accessories and the classic blazer and jeans combo are favourites of hers. Look to her for absolutely timeless outfits that you can wear to the office now and five years down the road.
