Toronto Fashion Jobs – TIFF Presents “Grace Kelly: From Movie Star to Princess”

As I walked into the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto there was no question that I was in the right place. The Princess of Monaco, Grace Kelly, lined the walls of the venue with pictures from many of her cinematic treasures to her personal photographs. TIFF Bell Lightbox dedicated the whole ground level to the exhibit as well as stocking up their fabulous gift shop with the icon’s memorabilia and replicas of her jewelry. Yup, this was definitely where I wanted to be.

The exhibit, “Grace Kelly: From Movie Star to Princess” will be running from November 4th to January 22nd, and as I saw from day one, fans are willing to line up for as long as it takes to pay their respects to the Princess of Monaco. Fashion lovers will undoubtedly flock to this exhibit to witness Madame Grace Kelly’s unique and classic style. The Princess was no wallflower, but a muse to several designers. Dior’s Marc Bohan seamlessly created ball gowns for the princess, Coco Chanel designed her classic tweed suits for her, and Hermes named the iconic ‘Kelly Bag’ after her. The exhibit is a must-see, and if anything, it is an excuse to lose yourself in the life of a real princess.
