A fast-paced and growing fashion distribution company located in the heart of Vancouver’s Railtown District.
We are looking to hire a Vice President of Sales (Senior Level VP) to grow its current brands and find new brands for the companies portfolio. If you are currently in Wholesale Clothing Sales in Canada and are ready to take your career to the next level this job is for you!
Significant travel globally is required and the compensation associated with this position is competitive with the market and will be decided during the interview process based on skills and experience.
Manage, grow (current brands) and find new brands
Manage Sales reps and Larger Retailers in North America.
Develop plans and strategies for the business and achieving the company’s sales goals
Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
Manage the sales teams, and Major customers to deliver profitable growth
Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
Travel for in-person meetings with customers, and partners and to develop key relationships
Will assist with complex sales negotiations, attends sales meetings, trade shows globally.
Will directly manages a very large, high-profile customer accounts, as appropriate.
Will help develop sales proposals and responses to request for proposals (RFPs).
Must ensure sales employees are equipped with the product, system and selling-skills training that they require to be successful.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Clothing wholesale sales in Canada
Must have a full understanding and relationships with clothing Sales Reps and Majors across Canada
Knowledge of sales reps and majors in the USA is a plus as we grow in the U.S.
Demonstrated experience leading a high-performing team
Successful experience in building and growing brands
Knowledge of fashion industry and wholesale distribution
Expertise in a client-centric and solution selling approach
Excels at selling intangible solutions into the B2B market
Proven experience in closing sales deals
Aggressive, passionate and driven in approach to succeed
Superior organizational, multi-tasking, leadership and communication skills
Self-starter who takes initiative and maintains excellent follow-through and follow-up
Demonstrated ability in all aspects of sales leadership
An understanding of sales processes across all product lines
Skilled at planning (strategic sales plan) and managing the company’s revenue forecast
Skilled at building rapport and understanding business requirements of senior decision-makers
Have a general interest in the fashion industry
Tech-savvy and familiar with Google Apps and Adobe is preferred
