Kollar Clothing is a menswear brand that focuses on delivering luxury clothing, with street sensibilities, at an attainable price point.As the Technical Design Intern, you will work with the designers during the development & sampling stages to take product from inception to production-ready. Your main responsibilities will be creating technical packages for different styles, taking notes in revision meetings & implementing those changes in a revision technical package.


Work Description
* Work with Designers to interpret the fit and construction of products
* Build & issue accurate, detailed tech packs based on Designers requirements
* Assess samples with Designers during Revision Meetings to ensure all requirements have been met & take notes
* Present all related information from previous Revision Meetings to allow for complete and accurate review of each sample stage
*Using notes from the Revision Meeting(s), create Revision Technical Packages outlining fit and/or design changes for the Manufacturer(s) so that changes can be made in the next sample stage to achieve the desired look
*Utilize Illustrator, digital photos, and technical sketches as a tool of communicating to factories
*Liaison with Designers & Production Manager to communicate with Manufacturer(s) on all fit/design issues & changes
*PPS Meeting with Designers to ensure that final sample includes all corrections agreed to during the development process
*Strong skills with Adobe Illustrator & Microsoft Office


Requirements
* Strong Knowledge in Illustrator
* Knowledge of luxury & contemporary brands
* Knowledge of garment construction & fit
* Able to work with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc
* Excellent communications skills via spoken & written formats
* Fast learner & able to work under pressure
* Detailed & organized
