Our client, Mondetta Clothing is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Merchandising Manager to lead their Merchandising team and to work cross- functionally within the organization.

• Provide support to the sales team by projecting and analyzing various customer program requirements proactively with focus to increase business
• Forecast financial performance for the department and setting targets
• Manage the product assortment to meet the needs and wants of our customers
• Coordinate with the Design Development and Sales departments as the directly responsible individual to ensure that customer presentations are managed professionally and timely
• Lead research and development efforts, including research of market trends, supply chain, vendors, technologies, channels etc. and guiding the company through professional analyzed presentations and proposals
• Communicating and collaborating with the Senior Manager, Design Development to design the styles and programs that cater to our product strategy and customers in a timely fashion
• Ensure pricing, promotional strategies, and marketing support company objectives; may help in the development of sales promotions to effectively turn inventory according to sales goals
• Benchmark and monitor competitor performance and activities

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• +8 years of experience within the apparel industry
• Ability to follow, understand, analyze, and translate changes in the market to corresponding changes to company activities
• Excellent forecasting skills and the ability to determine sales trends in the market
• Marketing skills to develop sales promotions to effectively turn inventory according to sales goals
• Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships - building trust and credibility quickly with prospective customers
• Proven ability to prioritize
• Highly goal and results oriented with a
strategic approach
• Able to build internal collaboration to satisfy customer needs and business growth
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Able to work collaboratively as a team or as an individual
• Must be willing to travel as necessary
