Digital Marketing Specialist

 

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to grow our paid social and organic social channels. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, feels invigorated by multi-tasking, and strives to meet high standards. The Specialist will lead Smash + Tess’ social media strategy in order to boost visibility and customer engagement. They will manage our online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analysing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns. As our hands-on paid/organic social marketing expert, they will be working closely with Marketing Leadership and be responsible for handling and scaling social campaigns.

 

Responsibilities:

• Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing and publishing social content and copy

• Develop daily, weekly and monthly organic and paid social media plans including concept decks for approval and accurate detailed channel calendar

• Analyze best performing content & adapt strategy accordingly

• Select images and write copy for all social posts

• Post content to social media channels on time and in an accurate manner

• Monitor social media channels for industry trends

• Coordinate and facilitate all social media giveaways, including monitoring any partner/collaborator posts to ensure timeliness and accuracy

• Test ads across devices to ensure the best branding and user experience

• Test ad messaging across segments and report on engagement

• Optimize organic social posts for content and messaging

• Monitor the performance of our paid social campaigns, constantly optimizing the efficiency and scale of our campaigns

• Dive deep into reporting which includes but not limited to bids, device, audience segments, geo and demo targets, and creative, etc

• Work closely with the broader Marketing team to implement full-funnel user acquisition strategies

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, organic and paid social media management

• A post-secondary degree in Digital Marketing, Communications or related

• Experience working with WordPress, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, MS Office Suite and SEO platforms

• Proven experience delivering innovative digital campaigns with results

• Experience preparing and editing content for online, publications, documents, social media, reports and communication materials for various audiences

• Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and critically to identify opportunities and offer solutions
