Manager, Brand Marketing

mini mioche, the leading Canadian children’s lifestyle and apparel brand is hiring! This exciting new position will play a critical role in supporting the continued growth of the company.

 The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

• Develop and oversee the brand’s end-to-end marketing strategies to achieve/surpass company sales targets, grow the mm community and drive brand affinity

• Develop and lead creation, execution, and continual evolution of the brand guidelines

• Oversee the development and communication of the marketing calendar while working closely with the Managing Director & Head of Product

• Oversee marketing planning and execution across all channels: web site, email, social, brick & mortar, ensuring a consistent visual aesthetic and brand voice

• Create and execute large scale marketing campaigns to further build brand awareness, customer loyalty and new customer acquisition

• Oversee and ensure brand identity is maintained throughout the website, while working closely with the Ecommerce Manager

• Compile and conduct post campaign analyses and ensure learnings are incorporated into future activities

• Develop and oversee the brand’s social media strategy and content plan

• Manage all paid marketing content and strategy in partnership with the Paid Marketing Manager

• Direct brand photography and oversee the planning and execution of photo/video shoots

• Develop and manage all events and go-to-market activities. Create documentation, build workback schedules, and ensure timelines are met

• Manage external brand partnerships

• Oversee company’s give-back and community building initiatives

• Conduct regular audits of competitive brands, products, marketing activities and positioning

• Provide insight and direction to senior management regarding industry trends and potential opportunities

 

Role Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in brand marketing – preferably in the fashion, beauty, CPG space with a proven track record for building and growing a brand

• Previous experience in developing and managing a brand’s social media content strategy and successfully growing its community

• Previous experience in Brand Marketing for a DTC brand (ideally familiar with platforms such as Shopify, Klaviyo and Canva – preferable but not necessary)

• Strong creative eye and ability to translate the brand’s aesthetic consistently across all channels

• Excellent writing skills (copywriting, storytelling, brand communication)

• Previous experience planning/executing photo shoots and managing the process end-to-end

• Previous experience managing and developing a team

• Previous experience developing and managing partnerships and collaborations

• Strong ability to juggle many different tasks at once (able and willing)

• The ability and desire to jump into executional work that is required in an entrepreneurial organization

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Flexible working style and thrives in a fast-paced environment

• Positive, high energy, open and honest

• Familiar with the mm brand and understands its unique offering and positioning

• Strong interest/passion for sustainability, wellness, personal growth and development

• Is comfortable in both giving and receiving feedback

• Is driven, goal-oriented and slightly competitive in nature

• Possesses a proven track-record for navigating through adversity to complete their mandate

• Is passionate and thinks in terms of possibilities

• Has a strong desire to grow and create something meaningful and to make a difference

• Is ideally already familiar/passionate about the brand

• Is extremely organized, detail-oriented, efficient and has proven systems for managing their time and priorities

• Has a similar aesthetic to mm

• Understands the brand ethos and identity

• Is resilient and enjoys challenges

• Has excellent relationship building skills

• Is in-tune with the mm customer and community

• Has a passion for social media

• Has a growth mindset (adaptable, open minded, curious)

• Has a high capacity for workload
