ABOUT THE POSITION:

BaubleBar is currently seeking a Product Development Intern to join our team. You will be assisting in coordinating and maintaining the day-to-day development procedures for both current and new jewelry items, under the direction of the Product Development Management team and will learn about the entire product development process from initial design to product development and bulk production. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in product development and be able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment in a start-up culture.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and analyze new projects and work on design, timing and pricing issues.

• Understand various metal types and stone qualities, and their applicable value.

• Maintain and update spreadsheets daily (must be extremely accurate and detail oriented).

• Some administrative work including scheduling production, handling and sending samples, tracking production, data entry, follow-up

• Handling daily communications with the factories.

• Communicate with vendors to ensure samples arrive in a timely manner.

• Sample filing and closet organization.

• Assist in sample set-up for weekly review meetings.

• Maintain the style tracker with costing and SKU information and other data entry forms.

• Support the PD management team in various projects as needed.

 

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant program at a University level or a recent graduate.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organization and multitasking skills.

• Must have MS Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong interest in product development.

• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

• Must be able to work on tight deadlines.

• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
