Job Description
Store Manager

Location: Yorkdale Store
Reporting to: TBC

Purpose of Role:

A pioneer in Hunter’s retail store. Maximise sales and profitability, through driving passion for the brand and product, leading a true customer facing store team in providing an iconic customer experience, and ensuring a structured model for operations set up.

Key Responsibilities:

• A brand ambassador and pioneer for Hunter retail, representing the brand through all aspects of employee, head office and customer interface
• Develop and implement an effective retail operations, store controls and reporting structures for Hunter retail, initiating procedures for our first Store and then rolling them out throughout further store openings, ensuring a consistent Hunter process
• Strategically manage the Store operations, taking responsibility for key decisions made at a local level
• Lead a high performing customer facing and service orientated store team. Accountable for ensuring that all customers are given the full Hunter experience•
• Build customer profiling data to maximise the customer service offering and sales potential
• Drive store productivity and profitability e.g. conversion rates, sales. Achieve and succeed financial targets, controlling costs to budget
• Monitor and analyse store and business results to drive sales growth and identify opportunities
• Proactively manage the stock package in line with stock holding, sales analysis, customer demand and local market trends, feeding back information on product performance
• Ensure that employees have sound product knowledge and are aware of company policies and procedures
• Ensure the store is visually represented to support maximising commercial sales and Hunter vision, interpreting visual guidelines in the most commercial and customer driven manner
• Team planning in accordance with trading requirements, ensuring that customer traffic and demand can be met with the right employees at the right time
• Recruit, on-board, develop and retain a talented and high performing team, establishing proactive succession plans
• Take responsibility for self-development
• Responsible for compliance within the store to all current HR procedures an policies
• Cascade company communications to all members of the store team and lead by example when embracing brand messages
• Inspire your team, demonstrating Hunter behaviours in all aspects of the store and business procedures
• Uphold and communicate the company culture, demonstrating and supporting Hunter values
• Set and maintain excellent retail standards
• Partner with Head Office teams to maximise store opportunities including marketing campaigns, range assortments, stock levels

• Proven strong performance as a senior Store manager in a premium, high profile, high turnover store environment
