Sr Product Line Developer, Print Team

Under the Raw Material Print umbrella, the Sr Product Line Developer is the connector between the print team and the cross functional product teams for seasonal and long range print developments. You own the communication, updates and alignment across the product team and the LLO.

a day in the life of a Sr Product Line Developer, Print Team:
• Initiate and drive print development projects that are outside of the seasonal calendar; identify seasonal projects for the developers to innovate and build premium performance prints. Drive and see through all strategic projects for completion and implementation
• To be the key representative for the print team in cross functional weekly/monthly meetings to create visibility and solutions to requests from senior leaders
• To work closely with print developers to understand current development status
• To visit vendors and print facilities internationally to support print development and cross functional requests
• Work with the LLO team to discover any print constraints or opportunities to improve print process and vendor capabilities
• Work with cross functional teams and leaders, thru individual contributors, to manage risk and drive cross functional alignment
• Facilitate the workflow from the inception of a season through to the release of the seasonal readiness
• Support the team in the ongoing evolution of tools and processes with a focus on streamlining, consistency, innovation and creating operational excellence in print developments
• Have the ability to explain complex and difficult print issues to senior leaders to drive appropriate decisions
The finer print
• 10+ years' experience in textile and prints
• University degree / College Diploma in either textiles or fashion required, preferably in textiles.
• 5+ years' experience developing prints, with strong knowledge of process & timelines
• Experience traveling and working with suppliers outside of North America
• Strong technical knowledge of performance product materials process and visual aesthetics
• You have the ability to act objectively and uncover facts
• You understand the complexities of textile print development in order to deliver product
• You are a clear, concise and confident communicator that lives to support the business
• You enjoy a fast pace environment and can create order from chaos
