Our people systems team is looking for an experienced senior Workday analyst to join their team. This role will partner with cross-functional business partners and the rest of the people systems team to drive continuous improvements to our core HCM (Workday) in support of the broader organizational strategy.

• Work with cross-functional business partners (operations, people & culture / HR, payroll, IT, people safety, etc.) to understand existing processes/workflows, system functionality gaps and pain points
• Recommend design/process improvements that meet current and future strategic objectives
• Advise on security model, ensuring that all stakeholders have adequate visibility into data relevant for their roles, while protecting sensitive employee data
• Conduct end-to-end business impact assessments to ensure proposed changes are fully understood
• Advise on best practices for integrating Workday with other third-party SaaS/Cloud applications; supporting in the creation of technical specifications as required
• Support in the simplification of the people systems architecture; regularly review functionality not currently being leveraged within Workday, creating & delivering POC demonstrations that meaningfully illustrate how we could solve organizational problems with existing investment
• Configure new functionality & update existing configuration within Workday, ensuring full testing is complete before handing over to cross-functional partners for UAT
• Train other people systems analysts on configuration and testing best practices within Workday
• Co-create the strategy, design, implementation, and governance approach for our global people systems, working with leadership to establish a long-term roadmap

• Bachelor’s degree
• 15+ years’ experience in HRIS; analyzing, testing, strategy, implementation, troubleshooting
• 5+ years’ experience in Workday
• Experience in, and knowledge of how Workday interacts with HRIS
• Comfortable working with large quantities of data, with excellent proficiency in Excel
• Demonstrated knowledge of HR programs, policies & processes
