F/T Sales/Admin Associate
30+ hours/week

Carry Maternity is looking for a full-time Sales/Admin Associate to work weekdays (30-35hrs/wk) and weekends as needed. The selected candidate must work well in a team as well as independently. We are looking for someone with high energy and the willingness to learn. An outside of the box thinker with a strong interest in the fashion industry and a keen sense of style. Experience in maternity is an asset.

Primary responsibilities:
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customer needs and provide assistance and product knowledge
• Welcome customers into the store in a professional and friendly manner
• Maintain store cleanliness and visual appearance through merchandising and daily cleaning duties
• Process sales through POS and collecting customer's information into our database
• Maintaining stock levels both on the floor and in the stockroom
• Receiving and processing shipments in a timely manner
• Ability to build relationships and emotional connections with clients to offer the highest level of customer service and satisfaction

Secondary responsibilities:
• Manage special orders & customer holds on a daily basis
• Process/ship online orders
• Assist the buyer in placing and receiving orders
• Administrative duties - Filing weekly and monthly paper work, taking phone calls
• Keeping up to date on store information/details, including emails, customer information and paperwork
• Contact vendors for order inquiries and

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a boutique setting
• Interested in learning about business and fashion industry - from design/production to marketing & customer service
• Passion for fashion and a good eye for visual merchandising
• Able to assess customer’s needs and provide appropriate options for them
• Be a passionate brand ambassador for Carry Maternity and store philosophy
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
• Fashion background/ degree is an asset
• Having a car is not necessary but an asset
• Efficient in the following programs: Microsoft Office, Google Drive, WordPress & Photoshop
