Buur Fashion Canada is a subsidiary of a Dutch woman’s clothing company that operates in 10 countries worldwide and is the team behind six unique brands. Our office opened in July of 2012 and has since seen exponential growth within the North American market. Servicing more than 4000 accounts across the US and Canada, the Delta office acts as a sales and distribution centre. Our company prides itself on a quality product, excellent customer service and a hard working atmosphere, where everyone plays a key role in the growth and development of our team.

What we are looking for:

Reporting to the Vice President, the Commercial Manager serves as a company leader, overseeing day-to-day operations and focusing on the long-term interests of the business. This individual will join the team fulltime and be based in Delta, BC.

Key accountabilities:

- Looks for opportunities to grow a business, whether through partnerships or new initiatives, and works to take advantage of those opportunities
- Analyses sales and other reports that give insight into how a company can make adjustments to improve performance
- Assesses risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation
- Coaches employees on best practices for managing contract issues and handling daily issues and tasks
- Communicates with parties in a contract so that all understand the terms, particularly a contract's financial aspects
- Manages daily company operations
- Accepts extra duties as situations arise
- Works efficiently and calmly tight deadlines or other stress factors arise
- Examines company rules to make sure they stay relevant and makes recommendations for necessary changes

You will bring to the table:

- 3-5 years of sales experience
- 3-5 years of experience in consumer goods, apparel being considered an asset
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organizational skills and time management
- High attention to detail
- Ability to process the big-picture items
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities
- Strong coaching ability
- Fluent in English; French language is an asset
- Background or interest in the fashion industry
