Fashion Jobs – 5 Ways to Wear Knee High Socks

Style Nine to Five - Fashion Jobs

One of the biggest fall/winter trends to try right now is the knee-high sock. This trend can be worn to work, out for dinner, or even out for drinks. Knee high socks are great because they fall into the category of being bold, sexy, and edgy. Fashionistas all around are channeling their inner Cher Horowitz from Clueless with this look and I can’t get enough. Ladies, it’s time to pull up your socks and keep reading to find out five ways to wear the knee-high sock trend.

Tights underneath

This look is great for work. It can give you extra warmth but it also gives you that extra bit of coverage on your legs so you feel less bare. You could wear this with a loose blouse, a skirt and some booties.

With Shorts

Shorts in the fall can seem a little bit off season but to turn the trend into a more fall look, you could wear it with black shorts, a plaid top, a scarf and a pair of flat booties.

With a Dress

The quintessential fall outfit is an A-line dress that hits right at the thigh, with knee high socks and tall dark boots. For cooler days you could wear it with a leather jacket and a scarf.

With Tall Boots

I think this is my favorite look with a knee-high sock. It’s cute because it shows the sock just peeking out of the top of the boot. Wear a neutral colored sock that is going to match the boot like black or brown.

With Booties

This is a great option because you can wear it with either flat booties or high-heeled booties. These two combined together are a match made in accessory heaven. It goes with just about anything.
