Fashion Jobs – Short Story

Style Nine to Five - Fashion jobs

Now that it’s getting hotter out, it can be a challenge try to find clothes for work that won’t feel too heavy. Depending on your office environment – shorts can be a great alternative to a summer dress or skirt.

Here are some things to consider on how to make shorts work for you at the office.

1. Consider if shorts will be appropriate for your office. Not all offices will allow shorts and before pioneering the trend at your work, think about how conservative your workplace is.

2. Think about proportions. Remember – you’re still in a professional setting, so administer the finger tip length test before leaving your house Monday morning.

3. Pair it with traditional office wear. A good way to keep things professional is to pair your shorts with a blazer or button up.

4. Be brave with patterns. Make your look something special by trying a bold patterned pair of shorts.

5. Elevate your look. Keep things classy and professional with heels.
