2014 trends

Much like the seasons, fashion changes. The classics, basics and simple pieces in our closets have lived in there for as long as we can remember, while the rest are a combination of various epochs and hit trends of years’ past. 2014 was certainly eventful. We were introduced to new trends that will rock for years to come but sadly there are others with less staying power and more a thing of the past. Here are the culprits:

Whistles flatforms

FLATFORMS – These are nothing but unflattering.

fringe

FRINGE – A Coachella staple, that’s it.

Ombre dress

OMBRE EVERYTHING – Hair, sweaters, pants… so last year!

high low skirt

HI-LO SKIRTS – They reigned and like any trend, will likely come back, but it’s a no for now.

kylie jeans

EXTREME CUT-OUT JEANS – Kylie Jenner is known for owning the look, but seriously, there is a line between boho chic and hobo chick.
